  17. 1 kg Basmati rice soaked
  18. 2 onions sliced
  19. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  20. Dahi

Steps to make to make Chicken yakhni pulao

  1. Make stock in a big pot put chicken with enough water and all ingredients and boil it, remove scam and let it cook slowly till chicken is tender but don't let it break.
  2. After closing flame let it sit for 10mins than take out chicken in a plate take out garlic n onion also, squeeze garlic bulb and onion and mash them, Strain the stock.
  3. Wash and soak rice as directed. Slice onions, heat 1cup oil in a pot with sabut garam masala, add sliced onions, when it's light brown add zeera and ginger garlic paste, fry add mashed garlic and onions add chicken n fry well with green chillies.
  4. Add dahi and fry till oil comes up add the stock and mix check salt, when boil comes lower the flame and cover lid. Check when the water dries and holes are formed, keep hot tawa under pot and keep on dum, Add zarda colour if you like, and brown onions.
  5. Serve hot with raita and salad, shami kababs.
