Ingredients and spices for making bread:
- 16 ounces of leftover bread, any will do
- 2-4 cups of leftover vegetable and / or meat side dish.
- 1 cup of grated cheese, preferably any cheese
- 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Instructions for bread
- Preheat the oven to 350f / 175c / gas mark 4.
- Slice the bread and cut it into about 1-inch pieces.

- Then sprinkle the bread with olive oil and a good pinch of salt.

- Spread the cubes on a baking sheet and fry the bread for 30-40 minutes, stirring 1-2 times during the baking process, until the bread is completely dry.
- Then prepare the filling, you can add the vegetables or meat that you have left for the breading, but everything must be pre-cooked before adding it to your favorite meatloaf. It goes well with onions, garlic, beans, spinach, Chinese cabbage, chicken and sausage.

- Bring the broth to a boil over low heat, it should be hot enough to start boiling.

- When ready, place half of the bread in a square shape on the bottom of the plate. Bread should be good. Then roll out half of the filling and press into the spaces between the loaves. Then sprinkle the filling with half of the cheese. Then add the second layer the same way.

- Pour the hot broth over the surface of the cake. It should fill the bowl half an inch from the top.

- Cover with foil and pinch the edges.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven (350 degrees).
- Cook under aluminum foil for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and cook for another 15-20 minutes until the top is crisp.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10-15 minutes.
